Chris Judah-Lauder has presented at many conferences, workshops, and level courses all over the country, and has taught in elementary and middle school for more than 25 years. She currently teaches at Good Shepherd Episcopal School in Dallas, Texas. Her college degrees are from Indiana University (B.M.E and M.S.) and she received her Orff Certification at Hamline University.

She is a contributing author for McGraw-McMillan's 2004 music text book series: Spotlight on Music. She has served as adjunct faculty at Trinity University, The University of North Texas, and James Madison University in Virginia. 

Her publications include: Fun with Boomwhackers®, Boom Boom Holiday Fun, and Boom Boom Classics published by Warner Brothers; Keeping it Simple and Sounds n' Beats published by Sweet Pipes, Inc. and Hand Drums on the Move, Canya Conga? and to drum published by Beatin' Path Publications.

January 8, 2011   Matt McCoy, Recorder     

Matt McCoy most recently taught music and movement at the Potomac School in McLean, Virginia. He has also taught in the Howard County Public Schools in Maryland and at the St. Albans School for Boys in Washington, D.C.. He is the assistant Curriculum Director for George Mason's Orff Certification Program, where he taught Recorder for many years as well as Level II. McCoy has also taught in Orff Certification Programs at the Peabody Institute of John's Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, where he was director; the University of Northern Colorado; and at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. He is an active presenter in Orff Schulwerk process for both AOSA national conferences and chapters throughout the country. Matt is currently a doctoral student at the University of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City.

Dena Byers is an elementary music specialist in Durham, NC and Associate Conductor of the Durham Children’s Choir. She holds Level III Orff Schulwerk Certification from the UNLV and completed her Master Level Orff Schulwerk class with Jos Wuytak at the University of Memphis.  She received Level 3 certification from the Creating Artistry Program with Henry Leck, Artistic Director and Founder of the Indianapolis Children’s Choir.  A National Board Certified teacher since 2005, Dena has presented workshops at the AOSA National Conferences in San Jose and Milwaukee as well as for Orff chapters across the country. She served as a Region IV Representative on the AOSA National Board of Trustees from 2006-2009.   Dena will be teaching Level I Movement and Recorder at the University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point in the summer of 2009.  Additionally she has conducted several all-county honors choruses in North Carolina.
